Fishing and Stalking
Over the years the hotel has become extremely well known for fishing on the variety of hill lochs nearby, in particular Brown and Rainbow Trout. The expertise of the local ghillies is available to guide you throughout the day or perhaps you may wish to enjoy the tranquility of the lochs on your own. Fishing can be arranged locally with prior notice.

Hind and Stag Shooting can be arranged nearby on a number of estates with prior notice. Experienced local stalkers will accompany you on the rugged terrain throughout the day. We will be happy to put you in contact with local estates.

Golden Retrievers
The breed originated from a series of matings carried out by Lord Tweedmouth from 1864 onwards at his Guisachan estate. The Tomich Hotel has hosted reunions of the golden retriever club of Scotland for the last few years and will be hosting the 60th anniversary celebration in 2006.
